(More customer reviews)I just picked up a pair of these at KOHL's Department Store for $19.99 (7/24/09) reg $39.99. So they are way over priced here. For $19.99, they are Awesome.
Sound Quality: Excellent. They have an AAA battery powered (battery not included) in-line amplifier, volume control, power and mute switch. They problem I have with this is, it adds weight to the line. It has a belt clip on it which can help with the weight issue. You can also remove the battery, but you have sound quality loss. You can compensate this sound loss by adjusting your equalizer.
Noise Cancelling: I have to admit it works very well. I can't hear a word my wife says while using this. I intend to use this product at work. I've move to a new office where everyone likes it quiet. Out goes my computer speakers.
Comfort: It claims to be foldable and portable. That's all fine and dandy but the plastic hinge in the middle of the unit digs into the top of your head. They added nice padding but the hinge protrudes beyond the padding. So I added some foam rubber to the center. Problem with that is I can no longer fold them which I had no intent to do so anyway. Fits very comfortably over your ears.
Also included in the BOX: Cheap Vinyl Case holder and Airline adapter plug.
Conclusion: At great value at $19.99. Great sound. Some discomfort from plastic hinge.
