I bought these by mistake, thinking they were the AD500 series, but honestly, I could not have bought a better pair. They are the most comfortable and best sounding headphones for the money. I never got the chance to sample Bose or the more expensive AD500 or AD700 series, but I am thinking of buying the 700 or 900 series later when these wear out. But, because they were designed and engineered in Japan, that might take a long, long time! These headphones rest gently on your head and ears and almost feel like they are going to fall off, but as long as you are not doing any kind of physically active work, you won't have a problem. The sound quality is great as well. There is great bass, mid and treble that makes the HD205 Sennheisers I have, sound a little dry. So, if you are considering the comparable Sennheiser HD205 series, don't bother. They cost a little less, don't sound as good, and are very tight. They do have a wireless series that is real good, but after having these Audio Technicas, I refuse to ever buy Sennheisers again. In closing, these are the lightest, best sounding, and most comfortable headphones you can buy.
Buy these and forget the rest!
